Carl  studied for a National Diploma in Agriculture at Brackenhurst College before taking his first full time role on a forward thinking, high yielding pedigree herd milking 3x per day.

During the next twenty one years he worked his way up the career ladder on many dairy farms gaining a wealth of experience and it is this knowledge base combined with a commitment to formal training that provides the ability to adapt his approach to your individual needs.

In 2010 after being unimpressed by the standard of Relief Milkers available he co-founded Mornios Contract Herdcare with his then fiancé Natalie.

Carl is passionate about cows and has a penchant for efficiency throughout all areas of milk production a subject that he had demonstrable results with on farms where he has held a number of management roles throughout the UK.

Natalie co-founded Mornios Contract Herdcare in 2010 after having met and worked with Carl for just a year. With previous experience on dairy farms in a variety of roles before this, Natalie’s areas of experience encompass all tasks associated with efficient milk production from young-stock rearing, milking, A.I and reproduction management, dry cow and fresh cow management and T.MR formulation and feeding using tractors and tele-handlers.

Having taken many available opportunities to augment her practical skills with theory based training and a desire to continually improve and develop her technical and managerial skills to remain current, Natalie possesses the perfect balance of experience and training.

With a keen attention to detail and great stock-manship Natalie brings a pride and ownership to her relief placements that is often lacking in the Regular Workforce.
